Renowned Soviet footballer, Olympic champion, and famous striker of the “Spartak” (Moscow) club, Nikita Simonyan, passed away at the age of 100.

Modern.az reports that this was reported to “Match TV” by the Russian Football Veterans Union.

Nikita Simonyan, whose condition worsened on November 20, was hospitalized. He passed away three days later.
