Bolivia's former President Luis Arce Catacora has been arrested.

 

According to Modern.az, the country's vice-president Edman Lara announced this on social media. It was reported that he was detained as part of a corruption investigation.

 

It should be noted that Luis Arce Catacora served as President of Bolivia from 2020 until November 8, 2025. One month ago, Rodrigo Paz replaced him in this position.
