A seven-day mourning period has been declared in Venezuela in memory of those who died.
Modern.az reports that Venezuela's interim president, Delcy Rodríguez, announced this during her address on VTV television.
“I have decided to declare a seven-day mourning period in memory of the young men and women who sacrificed their lives defending Venezuela and President Nicolás Maduro,” she stated.
It should be noted that the Cuban government had previously announced that 32 Cuban officers were killed during an operation conducted by the United States.
