Deputy Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Ruben Rubinyan made new statements regarding the “Trump route” – TRIPP (Zangezur corridor).

Modern.az reports that Rubinyan answered the question of how Armenia, which owns 26% of the shares in this project, will be able to manage the American side, which owns 74%.

In his statement to journalists, he said:

“If this is a company located in Armenia and registered in accordance with the documents, then it pays taxes and operates in accordance with Armenian laws. There are thousands of companies in Armenia without state ownership, but naturally, the state plays its regulatory role.

Furthermore, we are talking about business management, and since the Armenian government will own 26% of the shares, it has a say in how the business will be managed. It has been determined that, for example, in particularly important matters that may be related to the sovereign interests of the Republic of Armenia, nothing can be done without the consent of the shareholder owning 26% of the shares, i.e., Armenia, which has veto power,” Rubinyan stated.
