Moldova's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has initiated legal procedures for the country's withdrawal from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
Modern.az reports that Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi stated this in his declaration to “Radio Moldova”.
According to the Minister, the institution is currently working on a special project regarding the denunciation of the CIS founding treaty, its annexes, and the Charter of the Commonwealth:
