US President Donald Trump, while thanking Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for supporting the peace agreement signed last August, called it one of the eight wars he was able to bring to an end and wrote that "peace and prosperity now prevail" in the region.
He also announced his intention to strengthen strategic partnership with Azerbaijan, sign an agreement with Armenia regarding the peaceful use of nuclear energy, conclude agreements with America's main semiconductor manufacturers, and start supplying US defense equipment to Azerbaijan, including armored jackets and boats.
