One of the oldest residents of our country, 113-year-old grandmother Xeyranisa (Xeyranisa Baxışəliyeva), who has lived for over a century, has seen her long-cherished longing for Kalbajar replaced by reunion.

The video report creates a comparative picture of two different periods: in an interview recorded in 2024 before the major resettlement to Kalbajar had begun, the sadness in Xeyranisa Baxışəliyeva's eyes and her longing for her land are prominent. She expresses her unwavering belief that she will return to her native land, and lives each day with the desire to see that day.
In 2025, under the free breath of Kalbajar, in an interview filmed already in her homeland, grandmother Xeyranisa is no longer a guest, but a hostess. The video reflects her attachment to every stone and every breath of Kalbajar, and her rebirth, as it were, after her return.
