Noteworthy points regarding President Donald Trump and Melania Trump were included in the “Epstein documents” released by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) on January 30.
Modern.az reports that, in the 3.5 million-page declassified archive, the testimony given by Jeffrey Epstein's former assistant to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in 2019 is particularly noteworthy.
The unnamed assistant claimed that Melania Trump and Donald Trump met specifically through Jeffrey Epstein.
It should be noted that in August 2025, M. Trump's lawyers sent an official warning to Hunter Biden, son of former US President Joe Biden, who disclosed these claims to the public. The lawyers, calling the claims libelous, stated that a lawsuit seeking $1 billion in damages could be filed. Hunter Biden, however, stating that his disclosures were based on official documents published in the media, refused to apologize.
For information, it should be noted that the newly released documents confirm that Donald Trump made more flights on Epstein's private jet in the 1990s than previously thought. It is noted that Trump's family members also participated in some of the flights. The documents also include information regarding correspondence between Epstein and prominent figures such as Elon Musk and Bill Gates.
