Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Reza Pahlavi, son of the Shah of Iran, within the framework of the Munich Security Conference.
Modern.az reports that Zelenskyy announced this meeting on his Telegram channel.
“Ukraine supports the Iranian people's struggle for their future and extends condolences to all victims of the Iranian regime”, - Zelenskyy stated.
He emphasized that he "considered it important to strengthen sanctions against Iran".
The Ukrainian head of state stated that "I thank the Iranian prince for supporting Ukraine's territorial integrity. It is important to make every effort to protect human lives. Ukraine is ready to provide its assistance".
