The Baku City State Traffic Police Department has appealed to road users regarding weather conditions.
According to information provided to Modern.az by the Department, the appeal states:
"Since fog creates a serious obstacle to the timely and clear visibility of other road users, as well as road signs, marking lines, and generally regulatory devices, drivers are required to be more careful in such weather, choose the speed limit appropriate for the weather conditions, ensure the serviceability of vehicles, especially external lighting devices, and strictly adhere to safety rules during stopping, standing, parking, as well as overtaking and maneuvering.
Pedestrians should also take into account that drivers have difficulty seeing the carriageway and its edges in foggy weather, and should not forget their sense of responsibility when going out on the road in such weather.
