The Milli Majlis Commission Against Foreign Interference and Hybrid Threats has investigated, within the scope of its powers, a number of issues underlying the disinformation campaign conducted against our country on digital platforms and various media channels recently.
Modern.az reports that as a result of the analysis and evaluation of these unfriendly actions carried out against our state, the following situations have been identified:
• These activities are managed from a single center;
• Hybrid attacks lasting more than a year are part of a multi-level pressure strategy;
• This anti-Azerbaijan strategy consists of information manipulations aimed at misleading public opinion, creating polarization in society, and undermining trust in the state and its institutions.
The full restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity under the leadership of the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, the strengthening of its sovereign will, as well as our country's contribution to global energy security, the creation of transport corridors, the adoption of independent decisions on regional development issues, and the further strengthening of international partnerships have led to its exposure to a targeted campaign and purposeful disinformation containing baseless accusations.
The Republic of Azerbaijan will not change its determination to protect its rights against all kinds of hybrid threats and disruption of the information space.
The Commission Against Foreign Interference and Hybrid Threats calls on our citizens, amidst the ongoing disinformation campaign, to refer to and trust only the information provided by Azerbaijani state institutions and officials.
