The deliberate exaggeration of the actions committed by several anti-Azerbaijani elements residing abroad, in front of the hotel where President Ilham Aliyev was staying in Washington, in a manner that violates all moral norms, and is aggressive and provocative, has begun. Who stands behind this? Of course, the chauvinistic Armenian circles in the USA who sent those people there!
Naturally, those circles knew well how this fabricated process would end. They knew that the President has a strong security service and it is absolutely impossible to evade them and enter the hotel. Therefore, the scenario was prepared merely for show; the main intention was to disseminate a campaign working against the Azerbaijani President through the aggressive shouts and crude words of a few morally depraved individuals.
Everyone understands well that such incidents are not accidental. If there is a success, a victory, there will be enough ill-wishers attempting to discredit it. Both outside and inside the country. Azerbaijan's prestige is growing, it is consistently represented on international platforms, it is building warm relations with foreign states, especially a strategic partnership with the great power, the USA, which did not exist until now, and all this deeply disturbs Armenian chauvinists, their lobby, and circles that do not love Azerbaijan. In this regard, recent pressure campaigns and individual actions in the information sphere are deliberately brought to the agenda. Aggressive behavior, unethical expressions, and provocative attempts aim to distract attention from successes and manipulate the information agenda.
We know very well that the money factor stands behind every action. In countries where lobby networks are active, politically motivated actions are organized for money. Unfortunately, some who share our lineage and roots also become slaves to money, turning into tools in the hands of ill-wishers, and stand on the enemy front.

If we pay attention to the identity of those who first supported these scoundrels, who act as Armenian stooges against their own people and state, the picture will become quite clear. The first reaction to the incident came from ANCA (Armenian National Committee of America), which operates in the USA. This is the organization that has always shown interest in Azerbaijan being criticized more harshly in the international arena and in legal interventions being made against our country. It has also been engaged in implementing its priorities through influence over Azerbaijan's strategic allies and members of the US Congress.
Following ANCA, Frank Pallone, an enemy of Azerbaijan, championed the anti-national elements. This name is well-known to Azerbaijani society. Pallone is an individual controlled by the Armenian lobby and funded by ANCA. He is among the politicians supported by Armenian-American lobby organizations, including ANCA. He has openly supported the initiatives of these organizations and voiced the issues they brought to the agenda on the Congressional platform.
In his speeches concerning the Karabakh conflict and subsequent regional processes, Pallone has made statements criticizing the Azerbaijani government. He has particularly demonstrated a stance presenting Baku as the responsible party in matters of humanitarian situation, civilian rights, and regional security. In his speeches in Congress and social media posts, he has called on the US administration to pursue a more principled policy against Azerbaijan. Pallone has, in several instances, supported initiatives for the imposition of sanctions against Azerbaijan. He has participated in calls for the restriction of US security and military aid mechanisms. He has been among the politicians advocating for the strict application of the 907th amendment, which limits direct state aid to Azerbaijan.
Given all of the above, Pallone's rhetoric of protecting anti-Azerbaijani elements, known for denying the Khojaly events, calling for the continued occupation of Azerbaijani territories, and having visited the formerly occupied territories, does not seem so surprising.
Thus, the truth is that anti-national elements have become tools in the hands of chauvinistic Armenian circles, aligning themselves on the same front against Azerbaijan, and have sold themselves to the point of resorting to the most extreme measures.
It should be noted that these sold-out elements also grossly violated US security regulations in Washington on the day of a major international event. In addition to the Azerbaijani President's security service, the US police also intervened in the process, as the security of heads of state is one of a country's international obligations. In this regard, the incident creates additional responsibility for the security structures of the host country, and we believe that the actions of those who attempted a commissioned provocation will also be evaluated on a legal basis.
