We can lift sanctions against Russian oil.

Modern.az reports that US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said this. He said that military operations in Iran would not seriously affect the world oil market.

"I don't know if there is a need for escort when leaving the Gulf region. World oil reserves are sufficient."

The minister added that the US is expected to resolve the issue of safe passage for ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
