French President Emmanuel Macron announced that he had a phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
Modern.az reports that Macron stated on his social media page that during the conversation, he called on Iran to cease its attacks on other countries in the region and to abandon its plan to close the Strait of Hormuz.
The French leader also emphasized the importance of a diplomatic resolution to the conflict between Iran and the US and Israel.
