In January-February 2026, 172,675 tickets were purchased online in Azerbaijan through the "biletim.az" portal.
Information on this was provided to Modern.az by the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
It was reported that this is 2 times more compared to the corresponding period of last year.
According to the information, while the share of advance sales tickets was 29% during the first 2 months of 2025, this figure increased to 42% in the same period of the current year.
On the "Biletim.az" portal, it is possible to purchase tickets for 58 cities and regions, covering 91 destinations. 403 vehicles, comprising 355 routes, have been connected to the system.
To reach their destination comfortably and safely, citizens are advised to purchase tickets online.
