President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree on the State Border Service.
Modern.az reports, citing local media, that according to the decree, for military personnel serving at altitudes above 1800 meters above sea level, as well as in units permanently stationed in the Batken region, one month of service will be counted as two months.
The decree also defines the State Border Service as the legal successor of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security.
