A visit by the Armenian delegation to Azerbaijan is expected.

This was stated by Rusif Huseynov, Director of the Topchubashov Center, who participated in the meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian civil society representatives within the framework of the "Peace Bridge" initiative, in a statement to Modern.az.

“We want the next meeting to take place. However, given the current uncertain situation, it is difficult to say anything concrete. The matter will become clear after Novruz holiday. It is Armenia's turn. This means that the arrival of the Armenian delegation in Azerbaijan should take place. I cannot provide further details on where and when the visit will take place,” Rusif Huseynov noted.

R. Huseynov added that the agreements reached during the visit to Armenia are being implemented.

“Recently, an article co-authored by the coordinators of both groups - Farhad Mammadov and Arek Kochinyan - was published."

It should be recalled that the last meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian civil society representatives within the framework of the "Peace Bridge" initiative took place on February 13-14. This time, a total of 39 people from both sides of the initiative participated in the meeting. The Azerbaijani delegation entered Armenia by crossing the delimited and demarcated land border. The border crossing was carried out in accordance with border and customs control procedures, and a special permit was also obtained due to existing COVID restrictions.

According to the program, the Azerbaijani delegation stayed in Armenia for approximately 35 hours. During this period, 4 hours were spent on travel and hotel accommodation, 4 discussion sessions, two official meetings, a press conference, and continuous informal dialogue were organized.
