The continued operation of unregulated and unstandardized taxi services in the airport area negatively impacts our business reputation and creates serious risks for passenger safety.
Modern.az reports that Heydar Aliyev International Airport has issued a statement regarding this.
It is stated that one of the Airport's main objectives is to provide high-level service to passengers and ensure their comfort: "As in many countries, the airport is the primary location that creates the first impression for guests entering the country. However, sometimes guests at the airport, in addition to the various category options offered by official taxi operators, encounter persistent offers of taxi services from individuals who have no authorization, have not undergone relevant training, and whose vehicles do not meet the required standards. This, in some cases, results in passengers being deceived and dissatisfied. Unfortunately, we still encounter similar situations".
The Airport states that to prevent such unpleasant situations, it is essential for taxi operators functioning at the airport to provide services in accordance with unified, high-quality, and regulated service standards: "These requirements do not apply to trips made to the airport with personal vehicles. We call on all official taxi operators to enhance service quality and ensure passenger satisfaction".
