The Sabail District Court of Baku city issued a decision on the criminal case concerning Mehdiyev Ramiz Anvar oglu.
Modern.az reports that, according to the decision, the court granted the petition filed regarding Ramiz Mehdiyev, who was brought to criminal responsibility for particularly serious criminal acts, and chose house arrest for a period of 4 months as a preventive measure.
Ramiz Mehdiyev was the Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan from 1995 to 2019, and President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences from 2019 to 2002.
