Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan thanked President Ilham Aliyev for Azerbaijan's removal of all restrictions on the transit of goods to Armenia.
Modern.az reports that he said this during his speech at the 5th anniversary Silk Road Forum held in Tbilisi.
“Ilham Aliyev announced yesterday that Azerbaijan is lifting the restrictions on the transit of goods to Armenia through its territory. This is a very important statement, and I want to express my gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan for this step.
I would also like to express my gratitude to the President of Kazakhstan and the Prime Minister of Georgia for this,” Pashinyan emphasized.
It should be noted that yesterday, during a press statement with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana, President Ilham Aliyev said that Azerbaijan had removed all restrictions on cargo transit to Armenia that had been in place since the occupation.
