Media reported that Ramiz Mehdiyev, former head of the Presidential Administration and the National Academy of Sciences, intended to carry out a coup d'état in Azerbaijan and had sent a letter to the heads of certain Russian structures regarding this.
Information had also spread that this letter had fallen into the hands of Azerbaijani special services.
Although some claimed that such a letter did not exist and that they did not believe in its existence, the fact we present indicates that Ramiz Mehdiyev truly harbored the delusion of realizing a power coup plan in Azerbaijan with the help of a foreign country.
Modern.az website, citing APA, presents the letter sent by Ramiz Mehdiyev.
It should be specially noted that implementing such a plan is beyond the capabilities of neither Ramiz Mehdiyev nor the circles he contacted. Merely attempting this demonstrates his true hypocritical nature.
