The Russian Special Purpose Police Detachment (SOBR) conducted an operation against representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora in the Voronezh region.
Modern.az reports that as a result of the operation, several diaspora members were detained.
According to Russian media, among those detained is a person named Niyaz Zahidov. It was noted that he is a member of the criminal underworld and controlled the Alekseevsky market.
It was reported that Zahidov's Russian passport was confiscated and he was sent to a detention center for illegal migrants. (Source: Apa)
