“Russian House” operated in Azerbaijan for a long time without registration.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in response to journalists' inquiries regarding the results of 2025.
The minister noted that Russia had already been warned at the beginning of February 2025, and it was stated that such situations are unacceptable.
“Any establishment can operate in accordance with the country's legislation and agreements between the two countries. However, the violations led to the closure of the “Russian House”.
The minister noted that the activities of such institutions must be carried out in accordance with the country's legislation.
The minister stated that the latest contacts regarding the "Russian House" took place a few weeks ago. The reason for this was a number of unresolved issues related to the liquidation. Currently, there are no unresolved issues in this process, and the liquidation process has been completed.
