The delimitation process between the two countries continues. The heads of the commissions are actively working in this direction.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov while answering journalists' questions regarding the outcomes of 2025.
The minister noted that the delimitation process is not limited to periodic commission meetings and is quite complex in nature. According to him, significant progress has been made in this area to date, and a general agreement exists.
"After the delimitation of 13 kilometers of territory and the return of 4 villages, work has not stopped; the process continues. The deputy prime ministers and working groups continue their activities. According to the agreement, the delimitation process will be carried out from north to south, starting from the Azerbaijan-Armenia and Azerbaijan-Georgia borders and continuing to the Iranian border.
“Within the framework of this process, the status of the enclave villages will also be resolved,” the minister emphasized.
