The expansion of economic ties between Azerbaijan and Armenia is not ruled out.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in response to journalists' inquiries regarding the outcomes of 2025.
The minister noted that, considering the past, ties could be established as a result of Armenia's appeal, with the exception of military and other sensitive areas.
“There have been no such ties to date. There are also political and psychological elements here. Azerbaijani oil entered Armenia. When we observe information from open sources, we see that although there are mainly positive opinions, there are also alternative views. Some state that Azerbaijani oil should not be purchased, and so on. Therefore, if we are talking about the expansion of economic ties, all these factors must be taken into account, and our expectations must also be adequate,” C. Bayramov noted.
