The number of births and deaths recorded in the country during the first 9 days of the current year has been announced.
In response to an inquiry from Modern.az, the Ministry of Justice stated that 1708 birth facts were officially registered in the first 9 days of January 2026. During the same period, 1406 deaths were recorded across the country.
According to official data, the number of births slightly exceeded deaths during the specified period.
