Hikmat Hajiyev discussed this issue with the Ukrainian ambassador

Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan – Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev met with Ukrainian Ambassador Yuri Gusev and discussed strategic partnership.

Modern.az reports that the ambassador wrote about this on his "X" account.

It was stated that within the framework of the meeting, the results of 2025 and steps to further strengthen the strategic partnership in 2026 were discussed.

"We are grateful for Azerbaijan's continuous support to Ukraine",-Y.Gusev noted.
