In Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, there is a possibility of rain mixed with sleet in some suburban areas on January 18.

It was reported that precipitation will intensify in some places and gradually cease towards evening. A moderate northwest wind will occasionally strengthen.
The air temperature will be 0-3 degrees Celsius at night and 3-6 degrees Celsius during the day. Atmospheric pressure will be 770 mm Hg, which is higher than normal, and relative humidity will be 75-85%.
In the regions of Azerbaijan, occasional precipitation, sleet, and snow in mountainous and foothill regions are expected in some places. There is a possibility of intense precipitation in isolated areas. Occasional fog will occur in some places. The west wind will occasionally strengthen in some areas.
The air temperature will be from -4 degrees Celsius to 1 degree Celsius at night, 1-5 degrees Celsius during the day; in the mountains, it will be -5 to -10 degrees Celsius at night, -13 to -18 degrees Celsius in high mountainous areas, and 0 to -5 degrees Celsius during the day.
Roads will be icy mainly in mountainous and foothill regions.
