The next batch of humanitarian aid consisting of electrical equipment has been sent to Ukraine.
Modern.az reports that the next consignment of electrical equipment, intended as humanitarian aid from the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine, has been dispatched from the territory of Sumgait Technologies Park.
The dispatch of the aid was ensured by the Ministry of Energy in accordance with the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, dated January 16, 2026.
The humanitarian cargo includes a total of 12 low-voltage panels, 11 generators, 5 transformers, and 27,000 meters of cable and wire.
The total value of the aid, organized based on the request of the Ukrainian side, is 1 million US dollars.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan has previously sent humanitarian aid related to electricity supply to Ukraine. The total value of Azerbaijan's overall humanitarian support to Ukraine, including aid for restoration and reconstruction, has already exceeded 45 million US dollars.
