After the signing of the historic document by me and President Trump regarding the establishment of a working group for the preparation of the strategic partnership charter, our cooperation with American companies has intensified more than ever before. We are almost finalizing that document, namely the strategic partnership charter, and I hope that this will take place next month.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in response to questions from business representatives from various countries at an event titled “Breakfast with the Leadership of Azerbaijan” within the framework of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The President of Azerbaijan, noting that data centers, artificial intelligence, connectivity, energy, and a number of other areas have been included in that charter, stated: “Since August 8, we have already sent 4 delegations to Washington and other cities. All of them have returned with good results, and we believe that we are entering a new phase with the United States - in the political, economic, energy, and even defense spheres. This will create great opportunities for Azerbaijan to attract direct investment from the United States of America, and I hope that our European partners will not lag behind in this matter.”
