Azerbaijan is the only reliable, safe, and benevolent destination country for Europe, aiming to create a connection with Central Asia.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in response to questions from business representatives from various countries at an event titled “Breakfast with the Leadership of Azerbaijan” within the framework of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The head of our state, noting Azerbaijan's important role in the European Union's “Global Gateway” project, which will connect Europe with Central Asia, emphasized that our country has so far mainly invested in transport infrastructure: “Almost everything is already ready. However, the volume of cargo is growing so rapidly that we decided to increase the capacity of our Seaport. Thus, transport links, including the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” project, will also integrate Armenia into the broader regional transport network of Central Asia, contributing to the cause of peace. Because Armenia's roads will open, it will gain benefits from tariffs, and participate in broader international cooperation.”
