A leadership change has occurred in the Azerbaijan Popular Front Party (APFP). The party's former chairman, Panah Huseyn, confirmed this change with an official document shared on his social media account.
Modern.az reports that, according to changes made to the State Register of Non-Commercial Legal Entities of the Ministry of Justice, Giyas Sadigov has become the new legal representative of the APFP.
The decision was adopted at the party's VII Congress held on December 14, 2025, and was registered by the state on December 22, 2025.
With this, a new political stage has begun for the Azerbaijan Popular Front Party. Expectations for renewal in the party's governance and areas of activity have formed.
In political circles, this change is being closely monitored in terms of the APFP's future strategy, its position within the opposition, and its role in the 2026 political processes.
