State programs related to healthcare in Azerbaijan should be covered by compulsory medical insurance.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Ehliman Amiraslanov, Chairman of the Healthcare Committee of the Milli Majlis, at today's meeting of the committee.
According to him, starting this year, eight state programs will be implemented at the expense of compulsory medical insurance:
"This is a very important issue. Therefore, I consider it necessary for all state programs in the healthcare sector to be covered by compulsory medical insurance".
