US Vice President J.D. Vance will visit Armenia and Azerbaijan in February.
Modern.az reports that US President Donald Trump informed about this on the "TruthSocial" social media platform.
The American leader wrote: "Vice President Vance will visit both countries in February to continue our peace efforts and advance Trump's agenda for international peace and prosperity."
He stated that the US intends to strengthen its strategic partnership with Azerbaijan and sell American defense products to Baku, including armored apparel and boats.
Trump also mentioned an agreement on civil nuclear energy cooperation with Armenia and contracts for American semiconductor companies.
