President Ilham Aliyev stated in an interview with local television channels that the locations for 10 new metro stations to be built in our country have been determined.
Modern.az reports that the initially approved locations for these 10 new metro stations have been revealed.
In particular, 6 new stations are planned to be built on the “Purple Line”.
This year, according to the promise of Baku Metro, the opening of the metro station conditionally named “B-4” is planned.

On Jalil Mammadguluzade Street, located behind the Heydar Aliyev Sports and Concert Complex (near Tbilisi Avenue, Medical University, Russian Embassy, and the Clinical Medical Center No. 1, more commonly known as Semashko Hospital).

Subsequently — the “Sahil-2” (“B-6 A”) metro station will be built. The station will be located under “Sahil” Park.

Following this, the “B-6 B” metro station will be built at the intersection of 28 May and Kovkab Khanum Safaraliyeva streets, near the former “Chernogorod Bridge”.

Next — the “Khatai-2” (“B-7”) metro station.
The last station will be the “B-8” metro station, located in the “White City” area, near Babek Avenue.

Also, in continuation of the “Green Line”, the “Hazi Aslanov-2” (“Y-17”) metro station will be built. The station will be located near the existing metro station of the same name.

Near “Nargiz” Cafe — the “Y-16” station will be located (a little above the cafe, opposite the former tennis court).

On 8 November Avenue — the “Y-15” metro station will be located (near the Khazar TV building).

and the “Y-14” metro station, which will be located on 8 November Avenue, in the “White City” area, near the pedestrian bridge.

The last station will be “Khatai-2”.
In addition, a new depot named “Darnagul” is being built in the Binagadi district of Baku, near the metro station of the same name.

Two shafts will be built in the upper part and in front of the “28 May” metro station for line separation.


After the “Icherisheher” metro station, a turnaround (return) chamber will be built.

According to the approved State Program, the construction of new metro stations is planned to be completed in 2030. (Caliber.az)
