A prominent figure of the Khojaly tragedy, Khojaly resident Ilham Guliyev passed away today.
Modern.az reports that his nephew Etibar Guliyev disseminated information about this.
He said that his uncle passed away without seeing Khojaly.
It should be noted that Ilham Guliyev was one of the witnesses of the Khojaly tragedy. He had witnessed all the horrors that occurred on the night of the tragedy. Ilham Guliyev became famous for a photo taken with a one-and-a-half-year-old child in his arms. Later, in an interview, he stated that the infant was named Samir and had died in his arms.
