The Constitutional Court can review the Supreme Court's decision in this case

On July 14, 2023, pursuant to the amendment made to Article 34.2 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On the Constitutional Court", a new procedure for reviewing complaints regarding issues stipulated in paragraph 4 of part III of Article 130 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been established.

Regarding this, information was provided to Modern.az by the Constitutional Court.

It was stated that, according to the amendment, the Constitutional Court can only review a decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan in cases where that decision is based on a normative legal act that is inconsistent with the Constitution or laws.
