In Baku city, the statistics of newly opened workplaces during January-September 2025 (in the first 9 months) have been announced.
Modern.az, referring to the State Statistical Committee, reports that a total of 58,930 new workplaces were created in Baku during the mentioned period.
The list of districts by the number of opened workplaces is as follows:
Narimanov district 11081, Nasimi district 9709, Khatai district 8626, Yasamal district 7083, Binagadi district 6135, Sabail district 5648, Nizami district 3305, Sabunchu district 3000, Surakhani district 1948, Khazar district 1535, Garadagh district 836, Pirallahi district 24 workplaces.
During the third quarter alone (July-September), 22,434 new workplaces were opened in Baku, which indicates an increase in activity compared to the first half of the year.
It should be noted that, according to the full results of 2024, a total of 68,965 new workplaces were created in Baku. The 9-month pace of the current year is approaching this indicator.
