A new appointment has been made in the Apparatus of the State Border Service (SBS).
Modern.az reports, citing “Yeni Sabah”, that the Head of the SBS, Colonel-General Elchin Guliyev, signed an Order regarding this.
According to the Order, Major-General Nasib Mirzayev, one of the heroes of the Patriotic War and recipient of the “Zafar” Order, has been appointed Head of the Main Department of the State Border Service.
Prior to this, N. Mirzayev served as the First Deputy Commander-Chief of Staff of the Rapid Reaction Forces of the institution.
It should be noted that Nasib Tahir oglu Mirzayev was born in Lakin village of Jalilabad district.
He displayed great heroism, bravery, and valor in the Patriotic War.
By orders of the President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, he was awarded the “Zafar” Order, the 2nd Class “For Service to the Fatherland” Order, the 3rd Class “For Service to the Fatherland” Order, and the “For Bravery”, “For the Liberation of Jabrayil”, “For the Liberation of Zangilan”, “For Military Services”, and “For the Fatherland” medals.
