"Qurtuluş" Rehabilitation Center head Ceyhun Salmanov and two other employees have been detained.
Modern.az reports that Salmanov Ceyhun Məzahir oğlu, Məhərrəmov Elşad Məhərrəm oğlu, and Əliyev Natiq Eldəniz oğlu have been arrested.
It should be noted that the General Prosecutor's Office had previously issued a statement regarding the legal violations discovered at the "Qurtuluş" Rehabilitation Center.
The statement indicated that an investigation was conducted by the Sumgayit City Prosecutor's Office based on citizen complaints received regarding illegalities occurring at the "Qurtuluş" Rehabilitation Center LLC's facility located in the territory of Sumgayit city.
Based on the preliminary evidence collected as a result of the investigation, a criminal case has been initiated and a preliminary investigation is underway under Articles 125 (incitement to suicide), 145.2.1 and 145.2.4 (unlawful deprivation of liberty not related to kidnapping, committed by a group of persons in prior conspiracy against two or more persons) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that the name of the aforementioned center has recently been mentioned more frequently in connection with Honored Journalist Nəsimi Nəbizadə, who was treated there and later left the center.
However, the criminal case is not related to that incident. The complaint was submitted to the prosecutor's office in December of last year. (APA)
