On January 29, 2026, a telephone conversation was held between Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Modern.az, during the telephone conversation, strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the UAE, cooperation issues within international organizations, as well as the regional and international security situation were discussed.
