On February 10, 2026, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov received a delegation led by Khush Choksy, Senior Vice President of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
According to information provided to Modern.az by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the delegation includes executives and representatives from 31 companies.
During the meeting, steps taken towards establishing strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and the United States, regional connectivity, including energy, trade, transport, logistics, and the TRIPP route between our countries, the current state of bilateral cooperation in areas such as economic investment in several important sectors, plans, and prospects for developing cooperation with the U.S. private sector were discussed.
Following the Washington Peace Summit on August 8 of last year, the bilateral contacts and discussions held separately in the aforementioned areas towards the preparation of the Strategic Partnership Charter were highly appreciated, and it was emphasized that the Charter to be signed would give an additional impetus to relations.
Furthermore, during the meeting, Azerbaijan's significant role in the region's energy security, the importance of developing renewable energy resources, the diversification of trade routes in the Middle Corridor, the existing favorable business and investment environment in Azerbaijan and opportunities for establishing new connections, as well as other topics of mutual interest were discussed.
