Anar Israfilov studied Pediatrics at Azerbaijan Medical University, as well as State and Municipal Administration at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
He is currently continuing his doctoral studies in Nephrology at Azerbaijan Medical University.
He has also worked as a pediatric nephrologist in several state and private medical institutions.
From 2006 to 2022, he held various positions at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
He served as Assistant to the Minister of Health and Head of the Health Organization Department of the Ministry of Health.
