Catholics living in Azerbaijan have started fasting.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Toral Ağayev, Press Secretary of the Apostolic Prefecture of the Catholic Church in Azerbaijan.
"Today, with the Ash Wednesday ceremony, Catholic Christians began the Great Lent, which is a path of repentance, fasting, and mercy," he said.
It should be noted that tomorrow, Muslims in our country will also begin the Ramadan fast.
