On February 17, 73 crimes recorded in the country and the solving of 10 crimes remaining unsolved from previous periods were ensured by police officers.
According to information provided by the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to Modern.az, a total of 171 individuals who were wanted, including 143 wanted as debtors, 8 individuals sought as missing persons for leaving their place of residence without informing family members, and 8 individuals wanted for fraud were detained and handed over to the relevant authorities.
Additionally, 47 facts related to narcotics were identified. As a result of operational measures carried out by police officers, narcotic substances weighing a total of over 67.2 kilograms were discovered and seized.
At the same time, 17 facts related to the seizure and discovery of illegally stored weapons and ammunition were identified. In the capital and various districts of the republic, 1 automatic weapon, 1 machine gun, 1 pistol, 1 grenade, 11 rifles, 10 magazines, 458 cartridges of various calibers, and 192 shells were discovered and seized.
73 individuals suspected of committing crimes were also detained.
