Last year's divorce and marriage statistics were announced.
Modern.az reports that this is reflected in the State Statistical Committee's publication, which reflects the macroeconomic indicators of the country's economic and social development.
It was reported that 48546 marriages and 20675 divorces were registered in the country last year by the district (city) registration departments of the Ministry of Justice.
It was noted that, compared to 2024, the number of marriages per 1000 population decreased from 4.9 to 4.7, while the number of divorces fell from 2.1 to 2.0.
