There is new news regarding teacher Shahla Kamilova, who was injured during an armed incident that occurred a while ago at "Idrak" Lyceum.
According to information obtained by Modern.az, a positive improvement is observed in the teacher's health. According to assumptions, Sh. Kamilova will return to her work after the treatment process is completed.
It is reported that she will receive treatment with a cast on her neck for the next 6 months. It is reported that the teacher will resume teaching at "Idrak" lyceum in the next academic year.
Let us remind that on February 6, Ali Shirinov, a 10th-grade student, committed an armed incident at "Idrak" Lyceum located in Binagadi district of Baku.
The student came to school with his father's hunting weapon and shot Shahla Kamilova, who works as a teacher at the lyceum. The teacher, who sustained a gunshot wound, was hospitalized in serious condition. Doctors removed 16 pellets from the teacher's neck. The student who committed the incident was detained, and a pre-trial detention measure for 4 months was chosen against him.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated at the Binagadi District Prosecutor's Office under the relevant article of the Criminal Code.
