Over 82 percent of the quota for the Hajj pilgrimage has been filled.

This information was provided by Vusal Jahangiri, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Caucasus Muslims Office and Head of the Hajj e-system, in response to an inquiry from Modern.az.

V. Jahangiri noted that an increase in activity in applications has been observed since the beginning of the month of Ramadan, and the admission process continues.

It has been announced that citizens intending to perform Hajj are requested to register without delay.

It was additionally noted that the acceptance of documents will conclude on March 7, 2026, regardless of whether the quota is filled.

Due to price increases observed in all countries, as well as the introduction of new services by the relevant authorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the CMO has set the price of the pilgrimage package for one person at 6100 US dollars (10,370 manats) for the 2026 Hajj season.

The pilgrimage will be organized in a unified manner and will be carried out by air transport.

Required documents:

1) General civil passport (must be valid for at least 1 year);

2) Copy of identity card;

3) 2 color photographs, 5 cm × 5 cm in size, taken against a white background (women in dark hijab);

4) Health certificate.

It should be recalled that the acceptance of documents for those wishing to go on the Hajj pilgrimage began on October 22, 2025.
