According to official information, in 2025, a total of 322 enforcement documents related to domestic violence were received by local enforcement and probation agencies, including 280 short-term and 42 long-term protection orders.
It should be noted that a protection order is a set of official restrictions applied against a person who has committed domestic violence. The main purpose of issuing this order is to ensure the safety of the person subjected to violence and to protect their rights.
While the order is in force, the perpetrator of violence is prohibited from approaching, contacting, or engaging in actions that disturb the victim.
A protection order can be short-term or long-term. In both cases, the main goal is to prevent the recurrence of domestic violence and to ensure that the victim lives in a safe environment.
