Modern.az reports that this was stated by the US Embassy in Azerbaijan in a post regarding the anniversary of the Khojaly tragedy.
"On behalf of the US Embassy, we extend our sincerest and deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who perished. As we commemorate the victims, we are once again reminded of the importance of protecting human dignity, compassion, and establishing lasting peace for future generations," the embassy stated.
